In the hills of Tuscany, not far from the sea (40 Km) and from art towns as Volterra, S. Gimignano, Pisa, Siena and Florence, the Agriturismo Podere Lecceta is an organic farm immersed in the nature, among woods and olive groves. Accommodation is provided in an ancient stone farm house restored and furnished with traditional materials and divided into apartments of 1-2 rooms, with bathroom and kitchen/living room. A wide common living with TV and fire place is at guests’ disposal. Outside a splendid view on the hills, a big private swimming pool (opened from 15 June to 15 September, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.), naturally treated with salt, without chemicals, wide green areas, barbecue, wood oven, little playing field for children. We produce organic extra virgin olive oil and organic fruits. In March 2010, our oil was awarded the first prize as the best organic extra virgin olive oil of Pisa's province. In the surroundings several nice ancient villages, trekking paths in the nature and Casciana Thermal Baths, with their Well-being Center and a very large hot (37°C.) thermal open air swimming pool. Special agreements ensure reductions on the fees of thermal services to our guests.

In our farm you can spend relaxing holidays and nice week-ends in the middle of the peaceful tuscan country. We raise a range of farm-animals and grow organic cereals, fruits and olive-trees. In the Farmhouse "Podere il Pratone" you will have the opportunity to taste our the self-made products, together with our cheese which we make from december till may. The farmhouse has been renovated in the last years and is located in the heart of our property of 37 hectares. Part of the land is cultivated (hard wheat and other cereals) and part is left to the wood. A vast range of original self-vegetation can be discovered by following the old country paths that go across the property. You will have the opportunity to enjoy with us the real country athmosphere and to see the wild animals in their natural enviroment (deers, porcupines, badgers, turtles, foxes...)
